Running log

I have kept a running log book ever since my junior year of college, so I know the times I usually run and become a little obsessive about trying to better them each run. My coach would often like to hit me upside the head with my log book when I tell him my times from a workout five years ago. But isn’t that what makes an athlete: the drive to push themselves time and time again and never be satisfied?
